BIOGRAPHY Fred was born to Joseph Richard and Nellie Tuck McClellan. In infancy he came with his parents to Logan and grew up on a farm east of town. On April 20, 1930 he married Nola Marie Paramore.  To them were born three daughters, Janene, Janice and Joyce, and one son, Laurel. He worked for the railroad, the State Highway Commission, farmed, in the implement business, a carpenter, but will be remembered best as an "elevator man". He worked at the Farmers Union Elevator and was promoted to manager in 1950. He was a respected business man of the town.
